Southwestern Hooded Poncho De Rayas With Vintage Ed Hardy Love Kills Slowly Applique

Handmade/Upcycled Southwestern Hooded Poncho De Rayas With Vintage Ed Hardy Love Kills Slowly Applique.

Funky, sexy and cool at the same time, this poncho is made from a recycled, woven blanket. The material is a lightweight acrylic blend with a super soft hand feel. It makes a beautifully warm outer layer without adding too much bulk to your outfit. The colours are amazingly autumnal with a “Sergio Leone” feel. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly goes festival. Slightly shorter in the front with black, looped yarn edging and a jersey hood, this poncho will flatter a variety of shapes and sizes. The arm appliqué comes from a vintage Ed Hardy top. This patch is a light jersey, covered in beautiful rhinestones and is an incredible detail which makes this poncho something very special.

To be clear, this poncho is NOT an Ed Hardy brand item, it is an upcycled item made by me. This poncho is so easy to pack and throw on anytime, is easy maintenance and does not need ironing if hung to dry. The hood is a good, thick cotton and is a faded blue with ties.
As with all of my items, all materials, except for thread, are recycled, sanitised and stress tested for durability. The item has raw internal stitching and the poncho will weather and fray. This, over time will give this poncho an ever more distressed, deconstructed look which is part of my ethos of making beautiful wearable art with minimal waste.
