How adorable are these? I began with a beautifully distressed, frayed and stained pair of vintage overalls in 100% cotton railroad denim. Then I went to town cutting, patching, sewing and embellishing using a variety of stunning recycled materials.

There are so many details, please see the photos. Birds, flowers, denim, adjustable straps and frayed inserts in the seams. A little bit of bleaching to meld it all together, a few buttons and voila’! Cute, fun, feminine, shabby, trendy, unique, soft and super comfortable. I am so excited about these and I’m jealous of the person who gets to own them! As with all of my creations, the fabrics have been sterilised and stress tested for durability.

Most areas are double stitched and then over stitched with decorative zigzags. The dungarees are 100% cotton and the patches and appliqués are a mix of cotton and blended fabrics. The added buttons are plastic and the hardware on the dungarees is original. The original brand was Esprit and the hardware and inside label has this logo.
